Of baluster form with a rounded bulbous body rising to a tall cylindrical neck terminating in a slightly flared mouth, the surface finished in a deep blackened patina and richly decorated with finely engraved and silver-inlaid foliate and floral medallions arranged symmetrically around the body and neck. The shoulder and neck further embellished with geometric banding and stylized floral motifs, all executed in the traditional koftgari-influenced silver inlay technique characteristic of northern Indian metalwork at the turn of the 20th century. The base flat and unmarked, consistent with workshop production for export and princely domestic use.
H: 8 in., (20.4 cm.)
Overall good condition with very light surface wear.
