- Description: Thomas Bigelow Craig Oil Meadow Hillside Cattle Landscape Cows Watering Early Sunset Late Sunrise 10 x 14 Canvas, 15 ¾ x 19 ¾ x 1 ¾ inches framed, signed lower right Thos B Craig, titled verso, framed plaque Florida provenance incl. Biltmore Art Shop, Miami for refitting and a William R. West, St. Petersburg. Later another local resident, name withheld. Newcomb Macklin manner carved corner Arts and Crafts movement Impressionist frame.
- Signature: Thos. B Craig
- Condition: Good estate find condition, overall condition sound, fine craquelure, surface dirt, darkened varnish and a couple of small flakes, frame sound. Two dents in frame, likely from something hitting the length of the frame, see photos. Craquelure has evolved into flaking on top left of the work. Abrasion on bottom right of the work near signature.
