MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE JARS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, approximately one-quart and half-gallon capacities, each of cylindrical form with slight shoulder, heavy collar, and squared rim, small example with Albany-slip glazed interior. Each with three brushed cobalt flowers spaced below rim. Probably Baltimore and Philadelphia. Circa 1875. 7" and 8" H. Provenance: From a West Virginia private collection.
Large example undamaged with several small surface spalls, as made, small example with two small rim chips and a short hairline off rim.
