MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, approximately one-quart and one-gallon capacities, each of cylindrical form with slight shoulder, heavy collar, and squared rim, small example with brown-slip glazed interior. Each with brushed cobalt feathers off shoulder, small example full round. Probably Baltimore and Philadelphia. Circa 1875. 6 3/4" and 10 1/2" H. Provenance: From a West Virginia private collection.
