MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, "1" gallon capacity mark, ovoid body with shoulder bead, cylindrical neck, plain rim, grooved strap handle, and beaded foot. Brushed cobalt dropped-feather decoration around shoulder, and feathers flanking spout, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Circa 1860-1880. 10 3/4" H, 5" D rim. Undamaged except for a shallow chip to outer rim and two very light 1" hairlines off rim.
