MID-ATLANTIC FEDERAL MAHOGANY BOW-FRONT BUREAU / CHEST OF DRAWERS, having inlaid figured "tiger" maple edge molding to top, four graduated, cockbeaded drawers, reeded stiles, shaped skirt with upper banded inlay, and flared "French" feet. Pine and polar secondary woods. Retains likely original stamped brass pulls. Old refinished surface with mellow color. Circa 1810-1830. 40 1/2" H, 42 1/2" W, 21 3/4" D. Good condition overall with portion of top edge molding replaced (proper right side). Minor repairs to veneers. Possible repairs to cockbeading and to feet.
