MID-ATLANTIC LATE FEDERAL RED-PAINTED PINE WORK TABLE, the rectangular top with rounded front corners and single hinged rear fall-leaf supported by two sleeved pull-out supports over a plain apron with single centered drawer fitted with original wooden knobs, all raised on ring-and baluster-turned legs. Pine and poplar secondary woods. Old worn red-painted surface. Circa 1820-1840. 28" H, 28 1/2" x 59 1/2" top (closed). Provenance: From a Pennsylvania private collection.
