PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately one-quart capacity, baluster-form with an incised shoulder ring, boldly delineated rim and foot, strap handle, and brown-slip glazed interior. Three brushed cobalt feathered leaves spaced around shoulder and swags below rim, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Probably Richard C. Remmey. Circa 1875. 7" H, 3 5/8" D rim.
