WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE CROCK, salt-glazed, "2" gallon capacity, wide-mouth form with rounded rim, Albany-slip glazed interior. Stenciled cobalt "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA." encircling a shield-breast eagle, all within a triangle-and-dot frame, brushed cobalt scrolling vine above, dashes at sides, and dashes flanking the capacity designation below.
