Ca. 1885 - An antique gun L-shaped handle with smooth ebony grip, turn bolt action which allows chamber to be loaded by pulling leather strap, a screw is placed just above following engraving to be used as a sight, barrel is engraved "G. HANSON PATENT" (for Gustav Hanson, who produced about 1000 of these canes from 1885-1895), upon cocking the trigger pops out and can be used in conventional fashion, barrell measuring 14.17 mm or .57", signed 43 inside when opened to load, woven and stained cord which has some chipping from time along barrel, no ferrule yet there is cord wrapped near tip and there is a sight at the end.
