Ca. 1890-1920 - A historical patriotic cane referencing the elm tree of the Boston Liberty Tree site, during the American Revolution. This cane was made as a patriotic souvenir using wood from the Lexington Battle site. Large hand-carved knob handle, squared and stylized matching shaft with brass plate reading "CONSTITUTION SUPPORTER" and beneath reading " This Minute Man Club was turned from an Elm Tree estimated over 200 years old which stood on Lexington Battle Ground near the spot where the "Shot heard 'round the world" was fired April 19, 1775." Overall fine condition with minor split and average wear for age; great historical example of this cane. H-1 3/4x2" OL-36 1/2"
Each auction has different shipping terms but the buyer always pays.
