Ca. 1920-L-shaped silver handle well modeled and delicately hand chased to depict an eagle head, ebonized hardwood shaft and a metal ferrule. The predatory bird is well rendered and with its entire majesty including a strong beak, sharp eyes and a superb feather coat. Furthermore notable, is the smooth and rounded ergonomic shape of the handle, which makes it comfortable for the cane wearer’s hand. Quality is the trademark of this cane, which survived intact.
