Ca. 1930's (American) - A charming highly collectible early Walt Disney "Mickey Mouse" novelty cane featuring a hand carved and painted wooden figural handle depicting Mickey in classic "pie eye" form; the head retains original painted surface with expressive features, applied ears, and period character styling. He sports the iconic red shorts with black button detailing, and the chest bears the original oval paper label reading "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MICKEY MOUSE CORP. BY WALT DISNEY", paint exhibits honest age wear consistent with handling and use adding to the authentic vintage appeal, exceptional example of early Disneyana, painted green shaft and no ferrule.
