Bronze mask bolo tie clasp created by Cuban born Ernesto Gonzalez Jerez, circa 1960's. Ernesto came to the United States in 1947 and quickly became known for his oxy-acetylene, dripped bronze method used in his sculpture and jewelry.
Clasp measures 2 1/8" by 2 3/8" and is unsigned. From the estate of the artists patron who collected Gonzalez. In very good vintage condition.
