Of special interest is a c. 1820 Declaration of Independence printed on silk, a pair of Oscar Bach bronze torchieres, a cabinet by American carver Stephen Huneck, and fine repousse silver by Samuel Kirk. Additional highlights include a scarce golf-themed Royal Doulton jardiniere and stand, Japanese cloisonne, a variety of American, English, and Continental furniture and decorative arts. A Group of Sterling Silver Tableware
Comprising: a 4 7/8in (handle to handle) strainer by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., a Gorham rococo decorated repousse and pierced footed bowl, a 6in in diameter bowl by Webster Co. with a scalloped border, and a pair of weighted low candlesticks by Otto Reichardt.
Dimensions: the approximate weight of all silver pieces of this lot is 8.00 ozt
Provenance: Bernard J.D. Irwin (1830-1917); Thence by descent in the family; From a Bucks County collection.
Condition
The strainer with scattered dings to the bowl, the scalloped bowl with one ding near the foot, otherwise items of the lot are in generally good condition with minor expected surface wear as pictured.
