- Lot Description
Northern Plains Beaded Pipebag 39" overall with 6" of quillwork and 12" of fringe. Nicely beaded and quilled in geometric designs. 19th century. $2,000-3,000Beadwork is excellent overall. Hide is tin, discolored an shows some tearing in areas, a few which have been repaired. Only remnants of dyed chicken feathers. Quillwork is overall excellent with the exception of 3 small areas of minor breakage. Quillwork is bright on one side and slightly faded on the other. Hide is discolored bus mostly soft and supple.
