Serigraph on paper, 1976A dynamic and vividly colored serigraph by LeRoy Neiman, titled Elephant Stampede. Hand signed by the artist in the lower right and marked AP (Artist Proof) in the lower left. This rare proof reflects Neiman’s characteristic energy and bold use of color, here capturing the motion and power of elephants in full stride. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Network Gallery. Originally retailed at $26,500.

LeRoy Neiman (1921–2012) was one of America’s most recognized contemporary artists, celebrated for his bold, colorful depictions of sporting events, leisure activities, and cultural icons. A painter, printmaker, and longtime contributor to Playboy magazine, Neiman developed a distinctive style marked by vibrant palettes and dynamic brushwork, which translated seamlessly into graphic works such as serigraphs. His subjects ranged from athletes and entertainers to exotic animals, all imbued with an energetic immediacy.
