The composition exemplifies Dalí’s late-career graphic works, merging surrealist imagery with jewel-like precision, echoing his fascination with precious materials and crystalline forms.

Salvador Dalí (1904–1989) was one of the most iconic figures of Surrealism, celebrated for his dreamlike imagery, technical virtuosity, and flamboyant personality. From his early surrealist masterpieces such as The Persistence of Memory to his late experiments in graphic prints, sculpture, and design, Dalí explored the subconscious, religion, science, and luxury with equal fervor.
