Carved with a depiction of an Eastern orthodox saint wearing the crown of martyrdom and holding the globus cruciger (Latin for "cross-bearing orb") or stavroforos sphaira in Greek. It represents Christ’s dominion over the world. Fox purchased these in 2003 from a Texas antique store. They described these as purchased from Ireland Set of Six Oak Queen's Court Side Chairs.
