INCENSE BOAT (NAVETA)
Nao-shaped structure. Decorated with railings, fleur-de-lis, vegetable and geometric motifs that simulate wood. With seal, "OÑA/TE", referring to the name of the assayer (active from 1566 to 1572); the location mark of Mexico City is partially illegible; a probable tax mark or quinto real (a tower above a lake), as well as a provincial cross, that indicates that it this object belonged to the Dominican Order.
