Sergio Hernández is considered to be one of Oaxaca´s most important artists of our time. His work includes important European and American neoexpressionist elements from the 80s and 90s. His work is currently included in important private and public collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Mexico City, the Instituto de Obras Gráficas in Oaxaca, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Aguascalientes, The San Antonio Museum of Art in Texas, and the Museum Würth Kümzelsau in Germany.
