An exceptional antique centerpiece showcasing a masterful combination of gilt bronze and finely hand-painted porcelain, likely of French origin and dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece features an elegant porcelain bowl with a softly scalloped rim, richly decorated with intricate polychrome scrolling floral motifs in vibrant enamels. Flanking the bowl are two exquisitely cast winged nymph figures in gilt bronze, each gracefully posed and merging into stylized dolphin or fish forms, adding a sense of movement and mythological charm. The interior retains a soft blush pink glaze, contrasting beautifully with the ornate exterior.
