- Lot Description
Framed landscape etching by C. Weiss, dated 1972 and signed in pencil at the lower right. The print is marked "A.P." (Artist Proof) at the lower left and rendered in green ink, depicting a rural landscape with farmhouse, trees, rolling hills, and a stone wall in the foreground. The work is presented under mat and housed in a decorative frame, with a gallery label from The W.W. Gallery of Union, New Jersey on the verso. A quiet pastoral composition with strong linear etching texture and tonal contrast typical of intaglio printmaking. Condition consistent with age and framing. Approx. frame size (in): 18.5 x 15.75 x 0.75, Approx. print size (in): 9.75 x 8.
