- Lot Description
This lot includes two distinct decorative storage boxes, each with its own unique style and craftsmanship. The larger piece is an ornate jewelry chest featuring a domed lid covered in intricate metalwork and set with numerous multicolored polished stones. The detailed surface design and textured metal give it a rich, eye-catching appearance, while the interior is lined in dark fabric with a lid support chain. The second piece is a separate carved wooden trinket box with a hinged lid, accented by decorative metal panels and a simple front latch. Its warm wood grain contrasts nicely with the bold metalwork of the larger chest. The wooden box retains a label noting distribution by NBC Trading, Inc., and is marked “Made in India.” Both pieces show light wear from use and age but remain in good overall condition, making them ideal for storage or display. Approx. dimensions (in): 9 x 13 x 9.25.
