- Lot Description
Unusual glazed ceramic female mannequin head or display bust featuring a stylized face with painted lashes, black brows, red lips, and heavily textured glossy black hair. The piece has a cream-colored glazed surface with an elongated neck and squared shoulder-form base, with small mounting holes visible at the base. The form has a striking folk-art or studio pottery look and would make an eye-catching decorative display piece. Condition is as found, with significant damage including a long crack through the base and up the back/interior, visible staining, crazing, surface grime, glaze irregularities, chips and edge wear, and old residue or discoloration around the cracked area. Approx. dimensions (in): 12.25 x 7.5 x 6.5.
