Japanese pure silver square-form sake cup or masu with brushed silver exterior and gilt-washed interior, engraved to the front with the auspicious kanji 福 (“Fuku,” meaning good fortune or blessing). The vessel features a clean modernist design with traditional Japanese influence and finely crafted joinery-style corner detailing. Likely Showa period or later, the piece exhibits light surface wear, scratches, and minor patina consistent with age and use.
