Japanese pure silver square-form sake cup or masu with brushed silver exterior and gilt-washed interior, engraved to the front with the auspicious kanji 福 (“Fuku,” meaning good fortune or blessing). The vessel features a clean modernist design with traditional Japanese influence and finely crafted joinery-style corner detailing. Likely Showa period or later, the piece exhibits light surface wear, scratches, and minor patina consistent with age and use. An elegant example of Japanese silver drinking ware suitable for collection, display, or ceremonial use. Approx. dimensions (in): 2 x 3 x 3. Approx. weight: 14.5 ozt
