- Lot Description
Krone "John James Audubon" fountain pen featuring a richly detailed hand-painted wildlife scene inspired by the work of naturalist and artist John James Audubon. The barrel depicts a bald eagle perched on a nest with mountainous landscape, trees, and birds in flight, rendered in vibrant miniature painting. The cap is decorated with a feather motif in layered amber and white tones, complementing the nature theme of the pen. Fitted with a Krone crown-marked 18K gold nib stamped "Krone 18K M" for medium, with sculpted feed and black grip section. A striking example from Krone's collectible series celebrating Audubon's iconic American wildlife imagery.
