- Lot Description
A signed decorative ceramic charger featuring a dramatic raised relief scene of mythological figures, including a horned satyr or Pan-like figure rendered in an expressive classical style. The front is finished in a mottled green and cream glaze that highlights the sculptural design, with a broad rounded rim and shallow footed profile. The reverse shows concentric throwing rings, an unglazed foot ring, and a later wire hanger attached for wall display. The piece has an aged studio pottery appearance with surface crazing, glaze variation, rim wear, and small edge imperfections consistent with age and decorative use. An eye-catching wall charger or display plate with strong classical, mythological, and folk-art appeal. Approx. diameter (in): 15.
