- Lot Description
A handmade studio pottery charger featuring bold incised and relief-decorated stylized goat head imagery across the front. The design is highly expressive, with carved linear detailing, raised contours, prominent horn-like forms, and layered mottled glazes in green, cream, ochre, charcoal, and blue tones. The speckled rim and textured surface emphasize the handmade character of the piece. The reverse shows concentric throwing rings, an impressed maker’s mark at center, and an attached wire hanger for wall display. A striking decorative ceramic charger with strong folk-modern and studio pottery appeal, suitable for wall display or presentation on a stand. Condition appears good overall, with glaze variation, firing irregularities, and age-appropriate surface wear consistent with handmade ceramic work. Approx. diameter (in): 15.
