- Lot Description
An elegant and finely cast pair of antique bronze candelabra, each featuring a classical female figure supporting a five-light scrolling arm superstructure. The figures stand gracefully atop richly decorated cylindrical bases with intricate geometric and foliate detailing, evoking neoclassical design influences. Each candelabrum displays a central elevated candle cup surrounded by four outwardly scrolling arms, all adorned with finely chased ornamentation. The bronze surfaces retain a warm, aged patina consistent with age, with visible wear and oxidation adding to their authentic character. The underside shows expected casting marks and age-related surface variation.
