- Lot Description
Vintage Watling Treasury 5-cent slot machine featuring an ornate cast-metal front with raised coin motifs, yellow enamel-style panels, eagle decoration, “TREASURY” marquee, twin jackpot windows, and classic fruit reels. The machine retains its wood cabinet with black side panels, metal trim, pull handle, rear door with key, and interior mechanical components. A blue “Watling Scale Co. Inc., Chicago, Ill.” seal is present on the side, reading “Good in 1889 Better Today,” and the casting is marked “Pat. No. 1763841 Made in U.S.A.” Serial/number markings visible include L 7220 and 413. This piece shows age-appropriate wear, oxidation, paint loss, surface scratches, and patina throughout, adding to its antique display appeal. Functionality has not been tested, so it is offered as found for restoration, display, or collection. A scarce and eye-catching early casino/gaming collectible with strong Art Deco styling and desirable Watling branding. Approx. dimensions (in): 23.5 x 15.5 x 15.
