Chippendale Walnut Side Chair
Delaware Valley/Pennsylvania, c. 1775
Appears to retain its original surface.

Old, dry surface with some crazing/alligatoring. Slip seat marked 1 and seat frame marked 4 with crescent shaped chisel marks. Lacks glue blocks. Two surface patches to the face at the crest. Minor shrinkage cracks near pins. Typical bruising, wear and abrasions consistent with age and use. Small dent to one ear on crest. Otherwise, good condition.
