The John Brown Family Mahogany Games Table
Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1785-1800. Appears to retain its original pierced brackets.
Provenance: John Brown (1736-1803), Providence, Rhode Island;
To his daughter, Sarah Brown Herreshoff (1773-1846);
To her son Charles Frederick Herreshoff (1809-1888);
Thus by descent in the Herreshoff Family line.
