Publisher's plain black boards, unclipped (no price) dust jacket. FIRST EDITION OF THIS RARE RECORD OF THE CELEBRATION OF ANGELOU, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY ANGELOU ON THE FFEP.: "Aaronetta + Joe Pierce and their Beloveds. Joy + Always Love! Maya Angelou 7/22/2008".

Laid-in is a printed portrait of Angelou and Winfrey printed in the style of a painting (11 x 8 1/2"). Beautiful and rare, Angelou inscribed this to famous collectors of African-Americana. Presumably, only a small number of this book were produced.
