Illustrated throughout by Biggers. 80 pp. Publisher's full green leather, front board stamped in black, spine lettered in gilt, in publisher's gold paper-covered slipcase. FIRST EDITION, #110/400 COPIES SIGNED BY BREWER AND BIGGERS. A rare title by a prominent folklorist, with wonderful artwork.
Condition
Binding rubbed, gilt on spine flaked away, occasional faint soiling in text; slipcase worn and soiled, with some splitting at some joints. Fine.
