Cloth worn, bumped, lightly soiled, endleaves and text occasionally thumbsoiled, skewed; jacket toned, worn, soiled, creased, with marginal chipping and tears. Fair.
Although Greenlee was an American, this book was first published in the U. K. This satire, a story of the first African-American C.I.A. officer, recruited to appear as if the C.I.A. was integrating; later this officer used his training to launch violence against the white power structure in the U. S. This novel was the basis of the controversial film of the same name (1973). This novel was required readinng at F. B. I. headquarters at Quantico.
