Illustrated. 230 pp. Publisher's black cloth backstrip over blue cloth boards, front board and spine stamped in silver, publisher's unclipped ("$2.95") dust jacket. FIRST EDITION OF KING'S FIRST BOOK, A HISTORY OF THE MONTGOMERY BUS BOYCOTT, AND THE EARLY HISTORY OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT.
Condition
Minor rubbing to binding, endleaves a bit offset, some light foxing to edges of text block, previous owner's signature on ffep.; jacket spine sunned and edgeworn, some toning, rubbing, soiling, a few scratches, creased tears to jacket panels. A near fine copy in a good jacket.
