New York: Farrar, Straus and Company, [1963]. 8vo. 213 pp. Publisher's white cloth backstrip over green boards, spine stamped in green and blue, publisher's unclipped ("$4.50") dust jacket. FIRST EDITION OF THIS NOVEL, ONE OF THE EARLIEST PUBLISHED ACCOUNTS OF THE PARIS MASSACRE OF 1961.
Condition
Some rubbing, toning to binding, occasional light scuffing to endleaves; jacket spine slightly toned, jacket panels toned, rubbed, creased, soiled. Still, near fine.

The Paris Massacre of 1961 occurred when the French National Police dozens (or hundreds) of Algerian refugees.
