Frontispiece portrait. 330 pp. Publisher's (trial?) binding of full burgundy cloth, front board and spine stamped in gilt (with unusual floral stamped line beneath "An Autobiography" and different gilt stamping on spine). POSSIBLE TRIAL COPY WITH FIRST EDITION PRELIMINARIES INSERTED AT FRONT; AN UNUSUAL, POSSIBLY UNIQUE COPY.
Condition
Cloth spine a bit toned, binding worn, soiled, hinges cracking, some offsetting to endleaves, text toned with occasional thumbsoiling, frontispiece, title-page and dedication leaf all inserted, skewed. Good.
