FIRST EDITION OF THIS FOUNDATIONAL HISTORY TEXTBOOK, FILLING A VOID IN THE EDUCATION OF AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHILDREN.
Condition
Binding toned, edgeworn, soiled, endleaves and text toned and occasionally thumbsoiled, small inkstamp on fp. Very good.

Woodson founded the Negro History Week (now known as Black History Month). He is known as the "Father of Black History."
