[ANGLING]. [DERRYDALE PRESS]. HAIG-BROWN, Roderick L. (1908-1976). The Western Angler. An Account of Pacific Salmon and Western Trout. New York: The Derrydale Press, [1939]. 4tos. 2 volumes. Illustrated. Publisher's full red cloth, front board and spine stamped in gilt. LIMITED EDITION, #903/950 COPIES OF THIS CLASSIC WORK. This copy was issued without the folding map (only the first 300 or so copies were so issued).
Condition
Spines toned and bumped, some rubbing, light wear to boards, some offsetting to endleaves, some occasional foxing, thumbsoiling to text and plates, a few pages unopened. Still, very good.

Haig-Brown was a conservationist, outdoorsman, and prolific writer.
