[BALFOUR, Ronald (1896-1941), illustrator]. The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. London: Constable and Company, 1920. Small 4to. Profusely illustrated in color and black and white. Unpaginated. Beautifully bound to style by Sangorski and Sutcliffe in modern full black levant morocco, boards double-ruled in gilt, spine ruled and lettered in gilt in compartment, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, marbled endleaves. Fine. With the bookplate of Robert Marceau on the fp.? Balfour is best remembered for his illustrations of this title. From the Collection of Louis A. Irmo. Measurements: 12 x 10 x 2".
