Garden City: Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1974. 8vo. 311, [1, blank] pp. Publisher's full black cloth, spine stamped in silver, publisher's unclipped (?$6.95") dust jacket (cloth spine a bit rubbed at edges, hinges lightly discolored; jacket spine and edges a bit toned and rubbed, a few short marginal tears to jacket spine). Still, fine. FIRST EDITION. Benchley co-wrote the screenplay (with Carl Gottlieb) of the film (directed by Stephen Spielberg); the film (1975) went on to become an enormous success and the first ?summer blockbuster."
