BIGGERS, Earl Derr (1884-1933). Behind That Curtain. Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, [1928]. FIRST EDITION. Although this is the third Charlie Chan book, this is the source for the first Charlie Chan film (1929), starring Edward L. Park as ?Police Inspector? Charlie Chan (Warner Oland would become Charlie Chan for the next film), and Boris Karloff, directed by Irving Cummings.
