Original publisher?s brown levant, covers with an ornate gilt Derome frame and intricate central lozenge, raised bands gilt, compartments completely tooled in gilt, last compartment near foot with a levant roundel of the Zaehnsdorf emblem tooled in gilt surrounded by gilt laced cornerpieces, all edges gilt, crushed tan levant doublures with gilt derome frame and intricate central lozenge containing a chocolate levant roundel of the Zaehnsdorf emblem tooled in gilt, chocolate morocco free endpapers, gilt?stamp signed by Zaehnsdorf with its small oval tool containing a seated medieval apprentice to signify a superior binding produced by the firm; original cloth slipcase.
