Blackstone, Harry (Henry Boughton). Blackstone Company Signed Payroll. Sheet. Dated August 7, 1926 and enumerating the weekly payroll for the members of Blackstone?s illusion show. Signed by fourteen people, including Harry Blackstone Sr. and his brother Pete Bouton (the latter signed twice). An additional three lines of advanced salaries appear at the bottom of the form. On one sheet of scarce 4to orange and red Blackstone letterhead. The Blackstone Sr. autograph on this payroll sheet, in his own hand, is for ?H&I Blackstone,? denoting Harry and his first wife, Inez Nourse. The couple received a salary of $325 for the week.
