First edition, pictorially stamped mustard and black cloth boards titled in gilt on spine, animal print endpapers., t.e.g. Frontispiece. Illustrated with black and white photographs, drawings and several foldout maps, 4to. Spine slightly cocked, edges gently rubbed and bumped, ex-library stamp on title page; uncommonly clean and intact.
