Portrait frontispieces in each volume with tissue guards, folding plate of sample handwriting in Vol. I. Late 19th century half calf over marbled boards, 2 flattened bands tooled in gilt, compartments gilt, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers. Engraved bookplates; A FRESH SET. Provenance: From the private library of a local Chicago collector, part one.
