Putnam's Sons, 1938. 8vo. 296 pp. Finely bound by the Chelsea Bindery in modern full blue levant morocco, boards double-ruled in gilt, spine ruled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt turn-ins, top edge gilt, marbled endleaves (spine lightly sunned to green, some mild wear to joints, lower rear corner bumped, mild toning to text). Near fine. FIRST EDITION, #120/225 COPIES ON RAG PAPER SIGNED BY BYRD.
