[232] pp. Publisher's full turquoise cloth, spine lettered in gilt, publisher's unclipped (?$3.00") dust jacket with artwork by Hannes Bok (very light rubbing, bumping to binding; jacket toned, especially at spine, light marginal rubbing or occasional wear). Fine. FIRST EDITION OF THIS SHORT STORY COLLECTION. The title story, Who Goes There? was the basis of the classic science fiction/horror films, The Thing from Another World (1951), The Thing (1982) and other films. All these stories originally appeared in Astounding SF magazine. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 8 x 5 ? x 1".
